Betty M. Hacker

Betty M. Hacker, age 45 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. She was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on August 2, 1963 the daughter of Joseph Leslie and Exie Louise (Merideth) King. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed helping others. On March 11, 1982 she married Brian Hacker.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Brian Hacker of Hamilton; a daughter, Heather Hacker of Hamilton; her father, Joseph King and her mother, Judy of Georgetown, Kentucky; four brothers, Johnny King, Michael (Becky) Inman, both of Georgetown, Kentucky, Jeffery (Amy) Smallwood of London, Kentucky, and James (Diana) Smallwood of Hamilton; seven sisters, Sue Haney of Lexington, Kentucky, Sharon (Larry) Watts of Georgetown, Kentucky, Carrie (Scott) Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky, Donna (Steven) Smallwood of Kentucky, Mary Garrett, Sherry Smallwood , and Jennifer Prater, all of Georgetown, Kentucky; and also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Smallwood; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Hacker, whom she dearly loved.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Earl Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
