Betty Rose (Meinhardt) Johnson

Betty Rose (Meinhardt) Johnson, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was born in Hamilton on October 27, 1937 the daughter of Richard I. and Clara B. (Lindsey) Meinhardt. On June 24, 1967 in Hamilton she married Bobbie Johnson and he preceded her in death in 2017. Betty retired from Pillsbury after sixteen years of service and was employed at Bendix Aviation prior to that.

She is survived by two children, Karen (Norbert) Doellman of Hamilton and Steven Harding of Montgomery, Alabama; one stepson, James (Vicky) Johnson of Fairfield; siblings, Fred (Linda) Meinhardt of Hamilton and Jim (Angela) Meinhardt of Camden; four grandchildren, Rob, Lindsey, Katie, and Andrew; four stepgrandchildren, Troy, Bridget, Annie, and Henrik; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Stang; stepdaughter, Brenda Salher; step granddaughter, Angela Chaney; and her best friend, Thelma Mason.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
