Herbert A. Williams

Herbert A. Williams, age 87 of Shandon, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Herbert was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on November 14, 1930 to Herbert Rosco and Mary Alice (nee Matthews) Williams. On November 1, 1950, he married the love of his life, Mary Strunk. Herbert spent his working career as a water well driller. Herbert enjoyed taking pictures, wood working, and hunting.

Herbert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary (nee Strunk) Williams; his children, Herbert G. "Butch" (Patty) Williams, Alice Woodward, Debra (Paul) Andreadis, and Tina (Stephen) Schwegmann; his sister, Margaret Bishop; his grandchildren, Eric Williams, Alex Williams, Amanda Snyder, Veronica (Nate) Brand, Jennifer Williams, Jonathan (Kayleigh) Woodward, and Kassie Andreadis; his great grandchildren, Molly, Ezra, Svetlana, Nadiya, Garrett, Mason, and Loralei; and many other loving family members and friends. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gary David Williams; his siblings, Thomas Rosco Williams, Melba Bisgaard, Colleen Faye Hunt, and Joseph Wayne Williams.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Kelly Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
