James Seals, Jr.

James Seals, Jr., age 79, of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital, Fairfield, Wednesday July 25, 2007 at 12:21 PM. He was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on October 15, 1927 the son of James and Anna (Young) Seals. Junior was a crane operator at Fisher Body for 38 years, retiring in 1987. In 1965 in Covington, Kentucky he married Tressa "Jackie" Pennington.

He is survived by his wife, Tressa "Jackie" Seals of Fairfield; three sons, Terry Lynn(Ann) Seals of Corbin, Kentucky, James Dalton (Penny) Seals of Oneida, Kentucky, and Brady (Lisa) Seals of Franklin, Tennessee; a daughter, Deborah (Phil) Mitchell of Marion, Indiana; a step-son, Greg (LuAnn) Robinson of Hamilton; eight grandchildren, Heather, Tracy, Stephanie, Angela, Brandon, Marcie, Shelly, and Dakota; seven great- grandchildren; a brother, Troy (JoAnn) Seals of Nashville, Tennessee; and two sisters, Vola Ballew of Hamilton and Zella (Frank) Goins of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter, Vanessa Wogenstahl.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Friday July 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Junior’s stepson Greg Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
