James Dennis Spurlock

James Dennis Spurlock, age 71 of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital-Fairfield surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. James was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 10, 1951. After high school, James proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his time in the service, he returned to Hamilton and worked as a machinist and welder for many years.

James will be dearly missed by his daughter, Stephanie (James) Bishop and her mother, Yvonne Napier; his granddaughter, Nikki Spurlock; his great-grandchildren, Braylen and Ariana Jackson; and his loving companion of many years, Della Hobbs. James is reunited in Heaven with his mother, Martha Eadds and his son, Randy Spurlock.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the time of his Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio with Pastor Sonny Hurd officiating.
