Jerry W. Hooker

Jerry W. Hooker, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. He was born in Pineville, KY on June 15, 1949 to Robert and Mary (Spurlock) Hooker. Jerry retired from Children’s Hospital. He was a member of Hamilton Christian Center. Jerry loved to fish, camp, playing his guitar, and the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia Hooker, his children, Annette (Jerry) Koons, Carla (Harold) Sarver, Jerry H. (Annette) Hooker, step children, Richard Barrett and Tonya Venable, his grandchildren, Jacob, Willy, Cortney, Kyle, Corey, Katy, Ricky, Christian, Destiny, Kayla, Camden, one great granddaughter, Callie, his brother, Howard Hooker, and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends . He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald CW Hooker, his sister, Lorine Smith, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue , on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 12PM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11AM-12PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
