Joel L. May Sr., age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Joe was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 25, 1941 to Alvin and Louise May. Joe was a Navy Veteran. He retired from General Electric after over 20 years of service. On May 14, 1960, he married the love of his life Shirley Stamper.
Joe is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley May; his children, Joel May Jr. and April Summers; his grandchildren, Joel III, Zach, Emilee and Samantha; his eight great-grandchildren; his sisters, Pamela, Eve, Sherrie and Paula; and his doggie, Bella. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron.
Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
