Joshua Michael Berkheimer

Joshua Michael Berkheimer, age 25 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 7:20 AM. He was born in Hamilton on December 19, 1984 the son of Michael Charles and Regina (Sulfridge) Berkheimer. Joshua was employed as a mental health specialist at Transitional Living, where he had close relationships with the clients and staff.

He is survived by his mother, Regina (Arenzel Rowland) Berkheimer of Hamilton; his father and stepmother, Michael Charles (Melissa) Berkheimer and her daughter Brittany Kelley of Hamitlon; a brother, Jeremiah Kane Berkheimer of Hamilton, to whom he was not only a brother, but a best friend; grandparents Gene and Linda Sulfridge of Coalmont, Tennessee and Dorothy Reffner of Hamilton; Uncle Shannon and Aunt Carla Sulfridge and their son Talon Sulfridge of Fairfield, who was like a brother to Josh; uncle Kenny (Shirley Miracle) Berkheimer of Loveland; Aunt Dot and Butler of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; special family friend Cindy Buckingham; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Reffner; great-grandparents Earl and Clara Layne; and great-uncle Robert Meeks.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Sonny Hurd of Lighthouse Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
