Liam Robert Sexton

Liam Robert Sexton, age 17 months of Hamilton, lost his battle with HLHS on Friday November 14, 2014. He passed away at Cincinnati Children's Hospital surrounded by his loving family and close friends. He was born June 3, 2013. Liam was the son of Justin and Katie (Dougherty) Sexton and little brother of Bradey Sexton. Many memories will be cherished by his parents, big brother, Grandparents Patrick and Charlotte Dougherty, Lee and Annette Sexton,and Uncles Zachary Sexton and Ryan Sexton. He also leaves behind a large extended family, friends and and an army of loving supporters. Although only with us for 17 months, Liam touched the hearts of thousands with his story of strength and his fighting spirit. Visitation will be held at New Life Vineyard Church 2470 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011 on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2014 from 5p.m. - 8p.m. A private service and burial will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Love for Liam, which will benefit future Cincinnati Children’s CICU families. All contributions can be sent to 1175 Dale Road, Hamilton, OH 45013. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Cardiac surgeons, doctors, heart failure / transplant team, nurse practitioners, fellows, nurses, aides, holistic health, pastoral care, child life, social workers and staff. They would like to also thank the many people that reached out to them during this difficult time providing meals, prayers, positive thoughts, messages, cards, planned and attended fundraisers. They love each and every one of you!
