Michael Tuttle

Michael Tuttle, age 50 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Friday, April 27, 2007. He was born in Hamilton on October 16, 1956 the son of Versell and Beulah (Parsley) Tuttle. Mike attended Miami University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a former employee of Hamilton Tool and Ford Motor Company. Mike was currently employed as an engineering technician for the City of Hamilton. He was an avid sports fan, especially college basketball; his favorites were Miami and the University of Michigan. Mike and his buddies would make frequent trips to Chicago to watch the Bulls play. He loved to travel and was planning a trip to Europe in July with his buddies.

He is survived by a daughter, Stefania Miller of Fairfield and her children, Alan, Jonathan, and Lauren; a brother, Barton Tuttle of Hamilton; three sisters, Shirley (Henry) Scholl, Frances (Bill) Farler, and Ruth Tuttle, all of Hamilton; many nieces and nephews; stepfather, Otis Caudle; and stepmother, Evelyn Harris. Mike had an abundant number of friends, including lifelong friends Billy and Nancy Harrison, very close friends Rick, Chris, Mark, Bobby, Dan, Bill, and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Versell Tuttle and Beulah Caudle; a grandson, Cale; and two brothers, Mark Tuttle and Elvin Tuttle.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Fields officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Mike had a very compassionate heart and soul, as well as a strong dedication to his family and friends. He will be missed by many.
