Myrtle Allen

Myrtle Allen, age 79 of Hamilton passed away on December 17th at Hospice of Hamilton surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clay County Kentucky on February 24, 1934 to Will and Emmer Wilson. On February 26, 1951 she was united in marriage to Clyde Allen. She retired from Powell’s Convalescent Home.

She was survived by her 8 children: Della Parker-Couch, Mary (Johnny) Gadberry, Kathy (Donnie) Hubbard, Marlene (Tony) Day, Willis (Kathy) Allen, Debbie (Mac) McQueen, Danny (Julie) Allen, all from Hamilton, Ohio and Donnie (Vonda) Allen from Somerville Ohio. There are 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years of marriage, her parents, 2 sisters, 6 brothers, 1 great-great-grandson Cory Tiger Cox.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10AM with Pastor James Asher officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
