Paul Marcum

Rev. Paul Marcum, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on June 28, 1937 to Houston Elby Marcum and Elvira (Gabbard) Marcum. On December 29, 1959 in Jackson County, Kentucky he married Elsie Brewer. Paul was a veteran of the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. He was a servant of God for God’s people and the devoted Founding Pastor at Fellowship Christian Center for thirty-two years. Paul was employed as a lineman for Cincinnati Bell for thirty years, retiring in 1995.

Paul is survived by his wife, Elsie Marcum; two sons, Phillip (Tina) Marcum and Houston (Kristina) Marcum; three grandchildren, Patrick, Hannah, and Hayden Marcum; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Michelle Renee Marcum; and fourteen siblings.

Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue., on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jim Burns and Pastor Houston Marcum officiating.
