Robert R. "Bob" Thompson

Robert R. Thompson, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Bob was born in Clay County, Kentucky on March 11, 1948 to Eugene Thompson and Blanche (Allen) Thompson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially helping people. Bob loved spending time with his children, and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sandy Thompson; his children, Gene (Amy) Thompson, Rusty (Nikki) Thompson; his step-son, Christopher (Rebecca) Saylor; his grandchildren, Amber (James) Junghans, Jessica Thompson, Nick Thompson, Angela Thompson, Brent Thompson, and Sean Thompson; and six great grandchildren; and one brother, Pete Thompson. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche Thompson and Eugene Thompson, one sister Lucille Tumeler; and one daughter in law, Vanessa Thompson.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 4:00 PM with Pastor James Cecere and Pastor Gary Beard officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Monday June 12, 2017 at Liberty Cemetery in Egypt, Kentucky at 1pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio. The family will be holding a memorial gathering at St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church Tuesday June 13 at 5:30PM to celebrate Bob's Life.
