Shirley M. Dillingham

Shirley M. Dillingham, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Reading, OH on July 19, 1928. Shirley was retired from Mercy Hospital Fairfield. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children; Cynthia (Mike) Teague, Susan Fields, Luana Dillingham, Rawn (Robbin) Dillingham, Dean (Debbie) Dillingham, Linda (Paul) Helton, Phyllis (Steve) Roell, and Art Lyttle, 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, cherished family members; Juanita Stephens and Annie Elmlinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; Howard and Laverne Elmlinger, her sons; Michael and David, her brother, Edward, her son-in-law, Ozzie Allen, and her grandchildren, Keith Fields and Ava Maria. The family of Shirley would like to give a special thank you to Jennifer and Michael with Hospice of Southwest Ohio, her caregiver and friend, Debbie, Hamilton Church of God, and Chaplain Tom Meyer.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 12PM with Chaplain Tom Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
