Aaron Richard Bunger

Aaron was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 5, 2017, as a result of an industrial accident at a powerplant in Ghent, Kentucky.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Ricky and Pam (nee Gadd) Bunger of Trenton, Ohio and his grandparents, James and Bobbie (nee Ballew) Bunger. He is also survived by his four sisters, Rachel Bunger, Rebekah (Mike) Bridge, Deborah (James) Evans, and Leah DeFrates. Aaron was a loving uncle to 7 nieces and 4 nephews, Alan, Athan, and Annalyse Bunger; Alexa Wilson; Payton and Paisley Bridge; Zachary, Chloe, and Cayden Evans; Adalynn Pressler; and Marissa DeFrates. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Additionally, he is survived by two boys, Xander and Xayden Douglass, he raised as his own. Aaron was preceded in death by his older brother, Nathanael James Bunger, a grandfather, Ebbie Gadd, and great-grandmothers, Clara Bunger and Callie Ballew.

Aaron graduated from Edgewood High School in 2000. Throughout his adult life he worked as a surveyor and contractor for several engineering firms. At the time of his death, he was employed by Tetra-Tech.

Aaron’s remains could not be recovered, so there will be no graveside service. The family will hold a Memorial Service at Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Dr, in Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends and family at their home in Trenton on Friday, November 17, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring non-perishables or can goods to be used by their church to supply Thanksgiving baskets to local families in need. Additionally, donations may be made to the Aaron Bunger Memorial Fund at 5/3 Bank. The donated funds will be used to purchase a bench to be placed at Butler County Memorial in memory of both Aaron and Nathanael.
