Abraham "Link" Bales, age 87, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Hamilton on July 22, 1931 the son of Arthur and Ella (Lorton) Bales. Abraham was employed as a janitor at Armco Steel for numerous years.
He is survived by his sister, Martha Gentry; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings, James "Quenten", Arthur, William, Luther, Robert, Walter, and Daniel Bales, Edith Depew, Lena Norton, Audrey Mick, and Jalah Stadler.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
