Adron Bishop

Adron Bishop, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Adron was born in Owsley County, KY on December 12, 1928 to James R. Bishop and Hazel (Abner) Combs. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Adron is survived by his children, Karen (Mike) Luff, Jeff (Cindy McCardle) Bishop, Barry (Kathy) Bishop, Donna (Don) Hopper, Lawney (Joyce) Gilbert, Euvon (Joyce) Gilbert, Danna Olendorf, Phyllis (Alva) Fuson, Ty (Kathy) Gilbert; his three sisters, Myrtle, Pauline, and Shirley; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adron was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Roxie (Williams) Bishop; two daughters, Sandra Coda and Shirley Settles, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Tim Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
