Agnes M. Dalton

Agnes M. Dalton, age 92 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Agnes was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 11, 1925 to Alexander and Blanche (Gerard) Elder. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1943. Agnes married Melvin E. Dalton on November 8, 1952 and together they had two children. She worked for Wright Aeronautical, Fuller Brush, Lakeman Cleaning Service. Agnes was a member Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Epsilon Sigma Chapter, holding all offices. She enjoyed estate sales, antiquing, golfing, seamstress, needle work. Loved gardening, active in her church circle, avid reader, loved the library and enjoyed murder mysteries, active card player at Bridge, Canasta, Pinochle, Pitch, and Solitaire, member of the local widow/widower group.

Agnes is survived by her children, Steve Dalton and Barbara (Joel Thompson) Stork; her grandchildren, John (Brittaney Moseman) Stork and Margaret (fiancé Robert Jones) Stork; and numerous other family members. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Melvin E. Dalton; her brother, William Elder; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Sam Harnish officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. www.browndawsonflick.com
