Agnes A. "Ag" Hetterich

Agnes A. "AG" Hetterich age 94 of Fairfield passed away in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 11:21AM. She was born in Saratoga Springs, New York on December 20, 1912, the daughter of Edward and Christina (Klar) Pater Sr. She was educated at St. Joseph Grade School, Notre Dame Academy and Hamilton Business School and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Aggie was an avid card and bingo player and over the years she enjoyed her relationships and friendships with her co-workers at Estate Stove Co., Anthony Wayne Hotel and Pease Woodworking Co. She especially valued her children and grandchildren, and was blessed with a generous and loving spirit which will be missed by all who knew and loved her. On August 1, 1935 in Hamilton, she was married to Cyril Hetterich and he preceded her in death in 1979.

She is survived by one son; Dan (Emilie) Hetterich and one daughter; Nancy (Mike Henz) Dittman both of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Barbara (Tom) Krug, Brian (Dawn) Hetterich, Diane Hetterich, David (Diana) Dittman and Doug Dittman; six great grandchildren, Ethan, Alyssa, Matthew, Nicolas, Jack, Kathryn Lin Agnes and many loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters; Henrietta Mergy, Antoinette Magnuson, Christina Lander, Romilda Gfroerer, Julia Renners, Alberta Stricker and Lorraine Sudekamp; eight brothers, Edward Jr., Richard, Anthony, Bertram, Bernard, Herman, Julius and Cornelius; a brother-in-law, Ralph Hetterich and mother-in-law, Theresa Hetterich.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 10 AM with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Dr. William Krall, Linda Smith RN, niece, Ginny Tracy, Sheree Ripley and Mike Henz for their loving care and making the last months of her life more comfortable.
