Albert B. "Buzz" Chafin Jr.

Albert B. "Buzz" Chafin Jr., age 65 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 26, 2008. He was born in Hamilton on January 12, 1943 the son of Albert Baxter Sr. and Lillian Jeanette (Reed) Chafin. Buzz was a United States Navy veteran, and was a member of the NRA and Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton.

He is survived by a son, Allan Brian (Lyddia) Chafin of Trenton; a daughter, Alice Charlene (Thomas) Demonge of Hamilton; a brother, Walter (Laura) Chafin of Hamilton; three sisters, Edna Clifford of Millville, Alberta (Mike) Dietz, and April (Buddy) Hubbard, both of Hamilton; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses, c/o the funeral home.
