Albert C. Enderle, age 95, of Fairfield passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012. He was born in Bevis, Ohio on July 26, 1916, the son of John C. and Caroline (Straub) Enderle. Albert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the owner and founder of Al’s Salvage Service and retired in 2000. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On March 1, 1938 in Hamilton he married Marian C. Lyons, and she preceded him in death in 1997.
He is survived by eight children, Madonna (Sonny) Vail, Larry (Barb) Enderle, Dennis (Carol) Enderle, Dave (Judy) Enderle, Rick (Theresa) Enderle, Kevin Enderle, Norma Gullett, and Laura (Vince) Shepherd; three brothers, Melvin (Dorothy) Enderle, Edwin Enderle, and Earl (Cindy) Enderle; five sisters, Norma Manning, Marie Schlewinsky, Elvera Vogel, Lillian Halker, and Carol Barnhorst; 30 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; and 19 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sons, Norman and Tom Enderle; sister, Esther Day; and granddaughter, Maryann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Friday, April 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hamilton with Fr. Jim Elsbrend, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Church.
