Albert Stephens

Albert E "Sonny" Stephens age 73 of Seven Mile, passed away on November 17, 2017 at Hospice of Hamilton. Sonny was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 4, 1942 to Albert G. and Dorothy (Rogers) Stephens and grew up in Fairhaven Ohio. Sonny served in the Army from 1962 to 1964, he married Roberta (Depew) Stephens on November 7, 1964. Sonny retired from AK Steel after working for 37 ½ years. Sonny was a member of the Washington Lodge #17 and the Eastern Star Fort Hamilton Chapter #568. He enjoyed going to Red’s Hamburger sitting at the liars table, listening to Bluegrass music, Nascar and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

Sonny is survived by his wife Roberta (Depew) Stephens; daughter Sonya (James) Kelley and son Michael Stephens; Grandchildren, Matthew (Allana) Stephens, Morgan Stephens, Jamie (Tara) Kelley, Jonathan Kelley, Jacob Kelley and Xander Stephens; Great grandchildren; Mason, Hayden, Dalton, Ryanne, Emelia and Maddyson. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donny Stephens.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick, 330 Pershing Avenue, Friday, November 24, 2017 from 11:00 to 1:00 with funeral service to follow at 1:00 with Mike Gentry officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. The family would like to thank the staff at Jamestown, Fort Hamilton Hospital and Hospice in Hamilton.
