Alberta Saylor

Alberta Saylor went to join her husband Bill of 62 years to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on October 6, 1934. Bill and Bert married on December 1, 1949, and enjoyed going to the Eagles #407 and the Moose #28 for many years together. She was a member of the Moose #501. She loved children, and she will be missed for her loving kindness.

She is survived by two sons, Charles (Viola) Saylor of Tennessee and Mike (Donna) Saylor of Hamilton; two daughters, Sandra (Robert) Thompson and Anna Saylor-Greeley, both of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Christopher (Rebecca) Saylor, Billy Joe Saylor, Travis Greeley, Joseph (Sarah Shreve) Greeley, Vanessa (Leroy) Sapp, and Nicholas Saylor; and three great-grandchildren, Bruce, Xavier, and Caleb Sapp. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael Christopher Saylor.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Curtus Moak of Hamilton Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM.
