Alene Pabst

Alene Pabst, age 60 of Fairfield passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Saturday, January 22, 2011. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on April 23, 1950 the daughter of Hughy and Exie Bell (Wagers) Mitchell. Alene was employed at Avon for over 30 years, retiring in 2007. Alene loved to sing.

She is survived by her companion, Steve Nusky; three children, Denise Dunn, Deborah Ann (Hughie) Garrett, and Cassus Dion (Kim) Johnson; four grandchildren, Benjamin Perry, Kimber Rickelle Perry, Johnny Lee Dunn, and Emilee Johnson; a brother, Phillip (Debbie) Mitchell; a sister, Edna (Bill) Mooney; and several nieces, nephews, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Luke Perry; and a sister, Gladys Yancey.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Darryl McCoy of Fairfield Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
