Alexis Faith Smith

Alexis Faith Smith, age 21 of Somerville, passed away at Childrens Hospital Medical Center on Friday, December 24, 2021. Lexi was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 14, 2000. Lexi attended Edgewood City School until 2016 when she transferred to Fairfield City Schools, graduating in 2019. Lexi was blessed to have many aides and teachers throughout school; some of her favorites include Charity Huff, Holly Dainton, Ryan Breedlove, Jen Skirven and Jay Bauer.

Lexi is survived by her parents, Chad and Lori Smith; her brother, Roman Smith; her grandparents, Dale and Brenda Combs; her nana, Juanita Combs; her great grandparents, Lelon and Wanda Bond; her uncles and aunts, Tom (Tina) Koedel, Travis (Sara) Smith, Cory Smith, Amie (Steve) Ricketts; and a host of cousins. Lexi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Peggy Smith.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Funeral service to follow at 1:30PM with Darrell Mountjoy officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her mamaw’s scholarship fund, Peg Smith Memorial Scholarship at Fifth Third Bank.

The family would like to thank the staff of Takoda Trails for taking such good care of Lexi; especially Kelly Ray and nurse Anna.
