Alford Johnson

Alford Johnson, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 26, 2020. Alford was born in on September 28, 1937 the son of Marcum and Hester (Goins) Johnson. On August 23, 1958 in Manchester, Kentucky he married Mary Katherine York and she preceded him in death in 2019.  Alford was employed as an assembler for Fisher Body for thirty-one years, retiring in 1999. Alford is survived by his two children, Terry (Rhonda) Johnson and Teresa Rehm; grandchildren, Kyle (Lindsey) Johnson, Maggie (Andrew) Dingledine, Hannah Rehm and Sarah Rehm; four siblings, Leila (Floyd) Chadwell, Lola (Junior) Asher, Anne (Dennis) Lovins, and Ray Johnson; and six great-grandchildren, Sophia Johnson, Grady Dingledine, Wallace Johnson, Rhett Dingledine, Jake Johnson, and Mabel Dingledine. Alford was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Carl and Rick Johnson. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
