Alta Clareece King

Alta Clareece King, age 85 of Trenton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 8:40 AM. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on January 1, 1924 the daughter of Samuel F. and Louise (Hysinger) Rucker. Alta was employed as a vice-president at First National Bank, retiring in January, 1992. On May 15, 1943 in Camp Carson, Colorado she married Leroy King.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Leroy King of Trenton; three sisters-in-law, Lois (Thomas) Simms, Mary Brodwolf, and Helen M. King, all of Hamilton; a brother-in-law, Richard (Mary Catherine) King of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Charles, William, and Ellis rucker, who was killed in the South Pacific in World War II.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
