Ann Christine Caldwell

Ann Christine Caldwell, age 91 of Fairfield passed away at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 9:30 PM. She was born in Decatur, Alabama on March 4, 1921 the daughter of Luke and Porter (Bernard) Walker. Ann was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at several nursing homes in the Hamilton area. She was a faithful member of the Princeton Pike Church of God and was active in the Church of God since she was a young woman, serving in various ministries, including singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, and cooking and delivering food for visitation ministries.

She is survived by one daughter, Dorcas (Edward) Byington of Liberty Township; two sons, Danny Caldwell of Hamilton and Dennis Caldwell of Fairfield; two sisters, Elizabeth (Clarence) Wilder of Hamilton and Ruby (Ed) Bennich of Huntsville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Debbie (Craig) Charles, Ed (Shelly) Byington Jr., David (Danielle) Caldwell and Tammy Caldwell; six great-grandchildren, Jared (Alayna), Haley, Lindsey and Jenna Charles and Eddie III and Audrey Byington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Curtis, Will, Homer and Oliver Walker; and three sisters, Maggie Zaukelies, Flora Walker, and Alta Purin.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Barry Clardy and Rev. Ron Medley of Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon.
