Anna Mae Hurst, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Anna was born in Butler County, Ohio on April 4, 1928 to Frank Hollin and Laura (Massey) Hollin. Anna Mae worked at Beer’s Main St. Market for 22 years retiring in 1985. She was also a member of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church for 55 years. On June 22 1946 in Covington, KY, she married Arthur Hurst, and he preceded her in death in 1989. Her life was her church and her family.
Anna is survived by her children, Diane Bowling, Vicki Leger, Arthur "Bud"(Denise) Hurst; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Amy) Bowling, Christianne (Terry) Roberts, James Ray Leger, Jonathan Hurst, and Lorie (Joe) DiStaola; two step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; her siblings, Joyce Sampsel and Alberta White. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Alma Rogers Steve Hollin, and Violet McCollum; her son in laws, Maynard Bowling and James Leger; and her granddaughter Anna Marie Fultz.
Funeral service will be held at Pentecostal Highway of Holiness, 3470 Hamilton Middletown Rd, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00PM with Rev. Jerry Pascarella of Pentecostal Highway of Holiness officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Pentecostal Highway of Holiness. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Hamilton.
