Annabelle Wiseman

February 18, 1928 — October 8, 2007

Annabelle Wiseman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 8, 2007. She was born to Carmi and Beulah (Wilson) Larrison on February 18, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio. She met and fell in love with Walter Wiseman the summer of her 13th year and began a 66-year journey as the love of his life. They were married on June 14, 1947 when he returned from the Navy and service in WWII. After spending her young life raising three children, she went to work at Miami University, quickly becoming the manager of Dorsey, McBride, and Pines Halls. Retiring in 1989, she spent her time writing, creating Barbie bridal ensembles, and enjoying her family. She was a quiet and introspective woman with a poet’s heart. Her very essence is revealed in her writings, which mostly reflect her trust in the Lord and a very special lifelong romance with our father. Her life was an outstanding example to us all of faithfulness---to the God she served, the husband she loved, and the family she raised.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Owen Larrison; sister Dolores (Larrison) Nolen; and sister-in-law Bonnie (Kincer) Larrison. Survivors include her daughter Linda and husband Michael Stricker; son, Leslie Kenneth and wife Peggy Wiseman; daughter Janice and husband Stuart Martt; brother Eugene and Joan Larrison; sister Sheila and Steve Pierson and sister Donna and Richard Smith. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Trey) Duncan, Leah (Rob) Lewis, Sabrina (Kevin) Casey, Jordan (Joshua) Anderson, Gabriel Martt, Courtney (Casey) Watts, Brittany Martt, and Weston Martt; along with twelve great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Vitas Hospice at Ft. Hamilton for their wonderful care and dedication to helping people at a difficult time like this.
