Anthony R. "Tony" Seals

Anthony R. "Tony" Seals, age 46 of Hamilton passed away in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 6:10 AM. He was born in Hamilton on May 29, 1963 the son of Raymond and Christina (Senters) Seals. Tony was a 1982 graduate of Fairfield High School, attended the Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church, and was employed as a mechanic for the City of Fairfield for the last nine years. On November 6, 1982 in Hamilton he was married to Teresa Ballard.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Seals of Hamilton; one son, Shannon Seals of Hamilton; one daughter, Stephene (Matt Metcalf) Seals of Hamilton; his father and mother-in-law, Pete and Janie Ballard of Fairfield; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beaver (Rodney) Jones of Fairfield, Judy (Randy) Sandlin of Hamilton, and Billie (Rich) Anderson of Hamilton; six nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Jordan, and Rachel Jones, Jacob, Sierra, and Janielizabeth Anderson; and also six special friends, David (Kimmy) McCreadie and their daughter Aly, Ron (Cheryl) Surber, Mark (Donna) Sprau, C.J. Clemons, and Jimmy and Curt Rouse. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Colan Seals; and one sister, Patty Seals.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Terry Zeller, Pastor of the Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Anthony Seals Memorial at any First Financial Bank.

Tony spent his life working on cars, both professionally and as a hobby on his many classic cars. Most people said he could rebuild motors and transmissions in his sleep. He attended almost every local cruise-in and spent many weekends at the drag strips. He was a gearhead through and through.
