Antoinette Marie Lauer, age 91, of Hamilton, died August 16, 2008. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, August 12, 1917, the daughter of Anthony and Ethel (Gerding) Glock. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1935. On October 5, 1946, she married Albert Lauer in St. Peter Church, Hamilton. She was active in St. Ann Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the choir and the Altar Rosary Society and served as a religious education teacher, Eucharistic minister and a Christ Renews His Parish spiritual director. She was also a member of Presentation Ministries and the Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Association. For the past four years, she has resided at Sterling House of Fairfield. She is survived by daughter Christina (James) Endres of Fairfield; son Edward Lauer of Columbus; two grandchildren Rev. David Endres of Cincinnati and Elizabeth Endres of Fairfield; and sister Emma (Ben) Geyer of Prescott, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, of 55 years in 2001; her son, Rev. Albert Lauer; and her brother, Joseph Glock. Her body has been donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The family wishes to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice and Sterling House for their loving and compassionate care. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, August 22 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, Hamilton, with Rev. Stephen Mondiek, celebrant, and Rev. David Endres assisting.
