Arenzel Lee Rowland Sr., age 70 of Fairfield, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky on September 4, 1944 to Lemond and Bernice (Wagers) Rowland. Arenzel was retired from the Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of the AmVets Post 71, the Moose Lodge, and the Eagles.
He is survived by children, Arenzel Lee (Regina) Rowland Jr., Kathy (Christopher) Monnin; Joel Rowland, Timothy (Katie) Rowland, and Christopher Rowland; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Donnie Schmidt; and nieces, Diane and Darlene. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Agee; and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, January 9, 2014 at 6:00 PM. A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
