Armeda Ruth Haehnle, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Armeda was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 9, 1933 to the late Edward and Elenora (Ott) Supe. She married the love of her life, Christian Haehnle, on June 16, 1951. They lived in Cincinnati until 1962, when they purchased a farm just outside of Hamilton and raised a family. Not long after they moved to the farm, their home burnt to the ground and with the help of their family and friends, they were able to rebuild. They shared their homesteader lifestyle with their family and friends for many years, and all were always welcome. There was always an abundance of food and you would never leave the farm hungry. Armeda loved her family, including her many devoted canine companions. Armeda is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Earl) Stang and Penny (Ron) Scott; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Tyler) Babb, Andrew Stang & Jennifer Vollmer, Earl Randall (Mandi) Stang, Casey (Taylor) Stang and Christy (Nick) Rand; her greatgrandchildren, Eleanor, Eden, Makinze, Parker, Anthony Joseph, Olivia, Colton, Wyatt, Holden, Maria, Colt, Alison, Levi, Lily, and Leann; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Armeda was preceded in death by her husband, Christian Haehnle; her son, James Haehnle and granddaughter Samantha; her grandson, Christopher Scott; and her sister, Elenora “Toots” Garrod. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Hamilton or any charity that benefits the betterment of society. A Celebration of Armeda’s life will be hosted by the family at a later date.
