Armilda Frances Manrod

Armilda Frances Manrod, age 81 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at 10:28 PM. She was born in Hamilton on February 27, 1926 the daughter of Albert and Anna (Lunsford) Cook. In 1945 in Hamilton, she married Lee C. Manrod, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Terry) Brandner and Diana (Chuck) Newton both of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Shaun Reeves, Jeffrey Blanton, and Amanda Blanton; a brother, Albert Leon (Fran) Cook of Fairfield Township; a sister, Ruby (Jim) Johnson of Fairfield; a beloved sister-in-law, Vada Cook of Owingsville, Kentucky; and numerous special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce Manrod; and two brothers, Mel Cook and Howard Cook.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mark Wilson of North Fairfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
