Arthur Gillette Schwartz

Arthur Gillette Schwartz, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at Cottingham Retirement Community on Friday, November 2, 2018.Arthur was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 16, 1935 to Richard and Helen (Taylor) Schwartz. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Frances Dennett On October 13, 2001.

Arthur is survived by his sister, Cecilia Nigg; his nieces and nephews, Maryellen (Michael) Listermann, Raymond (Cecilia) Nigg, Kathy (Steve) Nierlich, Thomas (Debbie) Schwartz, William (Beverly) Schwartz Jr., Carol (Keith) Connor, Robert (Camila) Burkhart, Karen (Mark) Scanes, and nieces and nephews of the Dennett family; his sisters-in-law, Ann Dennett, Evelyn Schwartz, and Evelyn Dennett. Arthur was preceded in death by wife, Frances Schwartz; his sister, Dorothy Burkhart; his brothers, Richard, Raymond, and William Schwartz; his nephews, Richard and Joseph Schwartz; and his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, OH 45013.
