Arthur H. Striecker, age 90 of Hamilton passed away in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM. He was born in Decatur County, Indiana on May 6, 1917 the son of Frederick and Katherine (Senft) Striecker.
He is survived by his wife, Clarissa (nee Weber) Striecker of Hamilton; three daughters, Evelyn (Robert) Farr of Anandale, New Jersey, Donna (Ron) Purdy of Morrow, Ohio, and Lucy (Neal) Broughton of Greenwood, Indiana; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Bacon, Celebrant. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held in St. Louis Cemetery, Batesville, Indiana on Monday at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
