Arvetta Faye Minges

Arvetta Faye Minges, age 77 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 9:55 AM. She was born in Hamilton on October 10, 1930 the daughter of William and Zula (Lainhart) Graves. Arvetta was a member of Fairfield Eagles Lodge #3680 and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by two children, Kevin Puckett and Amy Wisecup; five brothers, Edward Huff, Billy Graves, and Darrell, Marvin, and James Lainhart; three sisters, Doris Ash, Norma Weber, and Deborah Moell; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Mark Armstrong, Eric Puckett, and Lisa Weber; four brothers, Donald, Billy, Sherman, and Herman Lainhart; and two sisters, Mildred Helton and Patty Goins.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
