Asenath Kay Menninger, age 83 of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Kay was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 13, 1941 to Charles Harding and Edna (Morris) Harding. She retired from Ford Motor Company after more than 30 years. Granny loved her family, her faith, and her few cherished friends. Her smile and laugh were infectious, and she had such a positive outlook on life.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Tami (Darryl) Richards and Tari Wombles; 10 grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) Turco, Shawn (Sarah) Turco, Timmy Turco, Josh (Alisha) Singleton, Jordan Richards, Eric (Jessi) Menninger, Jeremy Menninger, Travis (Jennifer) Menninger, Cole (Melanie) Menninger and Brandie (James) Peters; 20 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kaiden, Kayleigh, Makenzie, Shawn, Sophia, Emma, Ember, Kash, Abel, Isaiah, Quinn, Rylan, Kaitlyn, Kasin, Hannah, Riley, Natalie, Adeline and Brayden; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Myles and Maylee; sister, Debbie Roark; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna Harding; sister, Naomi Jane Westveer; brother, James (Juanita) Harding; sons, William Menninger Jr. and Randall Menninger; great-great-granddaughter, Madalyn Turco; niece, Joyce McVey; and her best friend, Lois Wolfe.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
