Audrey Marie Ward

Audrey Marie Ward, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away on September 14, 2008 at 4:30 AM, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 24, 1927, the daughter of Roscoe and Margaret (Allen) Hunter. Audrey was an employee of Avon, and retired after 15 years of employment. On March 14, 1945 she was married to Claude Ward in Jackson County, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death in August of 2002.

Audrey is survived by one daughter, Diane (Joe) Stout of Hamilton, three sons; Darius (Norma) Ward, and Dennis (Annette) Ward, both of Brookville, Indiana, and Doug (Barb) Ward of Camden; two sisters, Dessie Smith of Brookville, Indiana, and Mary (Brooks) Robbins of Seven Mile. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 9:00 A.M., with Pastor Fred Baker of the Baptist Chapel Church officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008.
