Barbara Sue Abrams

Barbara Sue Abrams, age 72 of Somerville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on January 22, 1943 to Ellis and Eva (Smith) Mays. She was a Founding Member of Calvary Christian Center.

She is survived by her husband of over 56 years, James, children Jimmy Ray (Delores), Ronnie (Heather), Lydia (Mark), Lora (Brian) and Stevie (Christy); grandchildren Tausha, Alisha, Mindy, Ashley, Aris, Shelby, Chris, Bobbi, Kyle, Zach, Shelby Lynn, Logan, Gracie, Alex; and 21 great grandchildren; her mother Eva and brothers David and Elbert and sisters Carolyn and Brenda; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. She also leaves behind her church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Christian Center, 2355 Jacksonburg Rd., on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1 PM with Pastors Jim and Diane Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 11 AM until time of service (1 PM).
