Barbara E. Colwell

Barbara E. Colwell, age 74 of Seven Mile, passed away at Woodland Country Manor on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 11:30AM. She was born in Hamilton on June 16, 1939 to Frank and Kathleen (DeWitt) Isaacs. Barbara was employed at Cincinnati Financial for 10 years retiring in 2005. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ in Hamilton. On June 5, 1958 in Hamilton she married William C. Colwell.

She is survived by William Colwell, of Seven Mile; two children, Jan Colwell of Okeana, and Bruce Colwell, of Seven Mile; three grandchildren, Katie (Tony Dawson) Colwell, Chantelle (Matt) Jennings, and Larissa (Troy) Blevins; three great grandchildren, Alivia, Hailey, and Madilynn; and four sisters, Patty Hornsby, Janice (Bob) Moore, Claudia (Dale) Kelley, and Brenda (Frank) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 1:00PM with Minister Dan Knisley officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12noon until time of service at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
