Barbara Faye Cornett

Barbara Faye Cornett, age 70 of Jacksonburg, passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was born in London, Kentucky on February 12, 1955 to James and Vernice (Brewer) Loman. Barbara was owner and operator of Trenton Family Barber Shop for more than thirty years. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and the Butler County Sportsman Club. On May 7, 2011, in Sevierville, Tennessee she married Robert Cornett.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Robert Cornett; two children, Shawna (Rodney) Jones and Brian (Rebecca) Root; five grandchildren, Christina, Cody, Dylan, Andrew, and Carter; four great grandchildren, Zoie, Ayden, Riley, and Emerson; one sister, Jennifer (Ray) Hartmann; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Jaylen; one sister, Michelle Baker.

Funeral service will be held at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 W. State St., Trenton, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Keith Risner officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
