Barbara Ann Elmer

Barbara Ann Elmer, age 63 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, March 26. 2012 at 2:15 PM. She was born in Hamilton on October 4, 1948 the daughter of William M. and Eva (Stidham) Norman. Barbara was employed in the accounting department at Federated for ten years and was a member of VFW Post #1069 in Fairfield, and VFW Chuck Cain Post #7670, and AMVETS Post #2. In 1968 in Hamilton she married George Oscar Wolf III; on October 19, 1996 in Hamilton she was married to Wallace Smith Elmer, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by two sons, Doug Wolf and Daniel T. Wolf, both of Hamilton; a daughter, Cynthia Wolf Gill of Hamilton; boyfriend and grandpa Marcus Kirby; her stepmother, Anna (Brown) Norman of Fairfield; a brother, William M. Norman Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; a stepbrother, William (Lill) Brown of Munsey, IN; three stepsisters, Betty, Brenda , and Angie, all of Fairfield; six grandchildren, Christine, Cheryl, Tana, Tena, Austin James, and Dougie; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lillian, and Harley. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Dewayne Wolf; and a stepsister, Judy Brown.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
