Barbara Elizabeth Lakes

Barbara E. Lakes, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at homeon Saturday, February 6, 2016.She was born in Hamilton on September 22, 1937 to Anthony Thomas and Elsie (Thomas) Barnes. Barbara was a retired realtor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald D. Lakes, her sons, Phil (Bev) Lakes and Steve (Gladys) Lakes, her grandchildren, Amber (Truman), Brent, Chris, and Evan, her great grandchildren, Zoey and Hudson, her brother, Kenneth (Ruby) Thomas, her sister, Virginia Barger, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Gary Barger.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 12PM with Pastors Dan Clemens and William Brantingham officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Hamilton or Hospice of Hamilton.
