Barbara Rose Lewis

Barbara Rose Lewis, 89, of Hamilton, OH, passed away on September 20, 2026. She was born in Hamilton on June 08, 1937 to Francis and Dorothy (Timmer) Spahn. Barbara was first and foremost passionate about Christ, sharing that love with generations of children as an educator. Later in life, she enjoyed her time working at Chester's pizza, a place where she spent 20 years serving the people of Hamilton. Reading, particularly devotionals and gospels, was something she could frequently be found doing.

She is survived by her son, Tony Lewis; her brothers, Joe (Connie) Spahn, and John (Jo Ann) Spahn; her grandchildren, Tyler and Anthony Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Charles Spahn.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 9 at 10am at St. Stephen's Cemetery, located at 1314 Greenwood Avenue in Hamilton, OH. Lay minister Steve Wilson will officiate.
