Barbara May Jones

Barbara May Jones, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Barb was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 26, 1942 to Louis and Ruby Loman. On June 28, 1957, she married the love of her life, Forest “Butch” Jones. Together they had five children, Richard Jones, Randall Jones, Cindi (Rick) Bresch, Russell (Victoria) Jones and Carol Jones; eight grandchildren, Ken, Sean (Ben), Jessica, Rachel (Jo), Kyle (Kara), Taylor, Kayla and Mandi; and three great grandchildren, Jordis, Wesson and Asher. Barb retired from Key Bank after 27 years of service. Barb fought a long battle with various forms of cancer. She will remembered for her positive attitude and her faith during those trying times. To continue her positive impact on the world, Barb donated her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Barb is survived by her siblings, Janice Roark, Frankie Tinsley, Ted (Brenda) Loman and John (Myra) Loman; and many nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Butch Jones; an infant son, Randall Jones; and her siblings, Danny Loman and Jacqueline Quick.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
