Barbara J. Reece

Barbara J. Reece, age 56 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on December 25, 1956 to Arthur and Alena (Sparks) Winkler. On November 4, 1978 in Hamilton she married Charles Reece, and they were happily married for 35 years. Barbara was a member of Lindenwald Baptist Church, where she was very active in their Bus Ministry. She was a devoted wife and mother, and was a compassionate individual who loved the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Reece; daughter, Tonya Renee Reece; son, Chuck (Ashley) Reece; brother, Walker Lee (Irene) Winkler; sister, Crystal (Ron) Soles; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Timmy Winkler.

Funeral service will be held at Lindenwald Baptist Church, 460 Symmes Rd., on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Randy Moore of Lindenwald Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lindenwald Baptist Church in her honor.
