Barbara Lee Rhoads

Barbara Lee Rhoads, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Known to most as Barb, she was born in Hartford City, Indiana on November 12, 1948 to the late Mike and Helen (Marshall) Willman. Barb grew up in Greenville, Ohio and went on to attend Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she earned her engineering degree. She later attended Miami University – Hamilton and earned her degree in information technology. Barb spent over 35 years in IT, beginning her career at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company and later retiring from Cincinnati Financial. Barb was a member of the Jaycees – Hamilton Chapter for many years. Barb grew up as a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Greenville and later attended Zion Lutheran Church of Hamilton. Over the years, Barb made numerous friends and was active in different bowling leagues, golf leagues, and community service programs. Barb will be remembered for her dedication to her community and her family, as well as her warm smile and friendly conversations that we all will miss.

Barb is survived by her children, Dori Frederick (Paul Dahill) and Jeff (Stephanie) Rhoads; her grandchildren, Jaymz, Alexandra, and Kayla; her great-grandson, J.J.; her brother, Steve (Roxanne) Willman; her nieces & nephews, extended family members and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diane Foutch.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 9:30 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home – Historic Downtown Chapel, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011, with Rev. Patti Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
