Barbara "Ginny" Williams

Barbara "Ginny" Williams, age 68 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 6:20 AM. She was born in Hamilton on October 25, 1939 the daughter of William and Irma (Botner) Swain. Ginny was employed as an administrative assistant at Miami University for 13 years, retiring in 2001. She was a charter member of Hamilton Church of God. On April 6, 1962 in Hamilton she married Lawrence "Larry" Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Williams of Hamilton; two children, Michael E. (Natalie) Williams of Liberty Township and David Joseph (Allison) Williams of Harrison; four grandchildren, Tyler, Brendan, Hanna, and Makenna; a sister, Sandra (Gunter) Swain of Hamilton; and a niece, Rebecca (Robert) Tompkins of Hamilton and her children Abigail and Reese. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael Swain; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Swain.

Funeral Service will be held at the Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Hamilton Church of God Children’s Church Fund.
